RIIRAI601D Establish and maintain the site infrastructure and fixed plant systems

Target Audience

This is an Advanced Diploma unit of competency, designed to support Managers responsible for site infrastructure and fixed plant at their mine site.


Course Content:

The RIIRAI601D Course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to develop a compliant site infrastructure and fixed plant management plan, and offers pragmatic approaches and proven strategies to help them establish and maintain a site infrastructure and fixed plant management system for their workplace. The course is delivered over six sessions:

Location:  8 Ure Court, Buderim or at your workplace*.

Entry requirement:  2 years management experience in the Coal Mining Industry.

Class size:  1 - 6

Facilitated Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Duration: 2 Days

Commencement date: As requested.

Location: 8 Ure Court, Buderim or at your workplace*.

Entry requirement:  2 years management experience in the Coal Mining Industry.

Class size: 1-6 Persons 

On The Job - Workplace Learning

This option is available to employees of companies that have an RTO service agreement in place with Performance Training Pty Ltd.

Duration: As per the agreed Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS).

Commencement date: As requested.

Location: At your workplace*.

Entry requirement: Employer Authorisation to commence training.

Class size: Not Applicable 

# Students are required to submit a pre-course workbook to help them prepare for their studies and provide the trainer with an appreciation of their skills and knowledge.
* Trainer/assessor incurred travel, accommodation expenses along with training venue hire or student catering are charged back to the client at Cost plus 10%. Credit card payments incur a 2.5% processing fee.  

Interesting Fact: Establishing site infrastructure and fixed plant systems involves not only designing and implementing infrastructure but also estimating its impact on the organization’s business plans and financial benefits. Hazards associated with the planned options must be assessed, and risk management plans developed.
